National Park Service's 2003 Archaeological Prospection Workshop

The National Park Service's 2003 workshop on archaeological prospection techniques entitlted "Current Archaeological Prospection Advances for Non-Destructive Investigations in the 21st Century" will be held May 19 through 23, 2003, at Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, Collinsville, Illinois. The workshop covers geophysical techniques, aerial photography, and other remote sensing methods as they apply to the identification, evaluation, conservation, and preservation of archaeological resources across the Nation.
